I wanted to run an experiment to see which short-form video platform (Tiktok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or Pinterest Idea Pins) is the best. I took 10 of the same videos and posted them to all platforms. This blog post goes over the results of that test.
There are a few variables to keep in mind when evaluating this data.
- Music – Due to the copyrights that each platform has for different music licenses I wasn’t able to use the same music for every video
- Date – Not every video is posted on the same day on every platform
- Followers – I have different levels of followers across all the platforms
